The economy is in the most unstable state in most of our lives. Possibly ever. The state of faith in our nation has never before been under such attack. Children are taught how to have sex but told there is no God. Unemployment is at an all time high. Stock market is on the verge of total collapse. The whole worlds economy has never been so vulnerable. HomXXevalXXues continue to plummet. Morals worldwide are disintegrating at an alarming rate. in my 62 years I have never seen anything even remotely like this.

Doesn't sound too good does it?

Do you believe all this has caught God by surprise? Do you imagine he is pacing back and forth in heaven wringing his hands saying what am I going to do now?
His word promises that there is nothing new under the sun. He told us that he knew the beginning and the end before time.

Is your faith shaken by the current world events? God shall not be mocked. nor shall his will not be accomplished. If you and I will not do the work of the father here on earth he will find someone else to do it. If no one else will proclaim his greatness then the rocks will cry out.

Do not be discouraged for the Lord is with you. He is Semper Fidelis (Always faithful) as we said last week.

He has carved out a plan for you and I to herald his greatness to the world for such a time as this. Lets not be caught napping. lets be caught by complete surprise working diligently when he returns for his people. Lets pray for him to tarry a while longer so we can complete the work he has for us.


God we thank you that you give us strength to accomplish the work you have given our hands to accomplish. Thank you that you show us how not to fear but to trust in you. Thank you for comforting us as our bodies begin to fail us and we can no longer depend on our own strength but begin to rely solely upon your strength. Comfort those of us who suffer and fail physically, comfort those family members as they worry about us.

Show us your glory oh Lord. let us stand in your awesome presence for just a while. Use us for your good pleasure Lord.

Protect our heroic men and women who serve our Military. Give our leaders wisdom and direction. Much to be done and little time to do it so give us strength to carry the banner high.
